About Jessica...
Hello everyone!
It's been quite a while since I've been on Postcrossing, but I'm back! School, work, and pure forgetfulness kept me away for far too long. A lot has changed since I've been gone, but one thing hasn't, I still have no idea what to say here.
So, here's an interview...
Q: Introduce yourself, as if you were talking to someone you had just met.
What is it like where you live? Is there something your town or city is famous for?
A: I live in a small, small Texas town that definitely has more cows than people. Though, I am not that far from the majorly bustling DFW Metroplex where I grew up.
Q: Do you have any interesting hobbies or play a sport?
A: No sports, but my Jeep Wrangler gives me life! I drank the koolaid that Jeep is selling, and I don't know that I can ever go back lol. Also, I've started t get into photography (which can be seen on some of my postcards).
Q: Tell postcrossers about your favourite book, music genre, movie, food or a quote.
A: Books: Harry Potter series defiantly ranks high as a classic for books. I also have been loving the novels by Carrie Hope Fletcher.
Music: I'm stereotypically Texan/Southern in that I love country music and southern rock. Though 70s/80s rock also ranks high.
Movie: I don't know that I can pick a favorite movie, but comedies and horror movies tend to be what I go for (depending on my mood).
Q: What are you especially passionate about? What is the one subject you could talk about for hours?
A: This probably sounds awful to some people but I could talk Jeeps for hours. And do somewhat regularly with a group of like minded individuals.
Q: Are you currently learning a new skill or language?
A: I am working on becoming a better photographer and just working on taking more photos in general.
Q: What are some of the things that make you smile or laugh?
A: My dogs. They are the cutest sweetest creatures ever (as every pet owner should think of their own pets) and I can't wait to add chickens, goats, and cows to the family.
Q: You'll be receiving postcards from many different places around the world... what are you most curious about these places? What would you like to learn from other people?
A: What is your favorite place or attraction in your town/city/general area? What should a tourist not miss if they visit? What is your favorite dish (special to where you are)? What do you want people to know about the place you call home?
