Chilemom

Hi everyone,
I am writing this on behalf of my mother, Maria. She is 89 years old and widowed. She has always loved to receive postcards so when I heard about postcrossing I signed her up immediately.
She was born and raised in Chile in South America and moved to the United States in 1965. She has 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren, a boy and girl, who she adores.

She hasn't traveled very much in her life but she would have loved the opportunity. She is always watching TV shows that show beautiful places and landscapes from around the world.

I know she would love the following:

* beautiful landscapes or scenery
* native people in their traditional clothes
* anything with flowers- real photos, not drawings

Single views are best for her 89 year old eyes.

Her mind is alert but due to her age she cannot write very well anymore so I will be sending postcards on her behalf. However, any postcards received would go straight to her mailbox. I know that each postcard she gets will brighten up her day. I will register all postcards she receives.

She can understand and read English but if you know Spanish please write in Spanish.
