Hello!

I currently work as a microbiologist (as in I play with bacteria and viruses all day) at a hospital near Los Angeles. I'm 28, and my favorite hobbies are bicycling and hiking. The San Gabriel Mountains are right behind my city, and that's where I like to escape to do those hobbies when I have the chance.

I would love to receive postcards that show:
-your city/city views
-a beautiful landscape from your country
-mountains
-national parks
-famous landmarks/buildings/monuments/cathedrals in your area
-tourist sites in your area
-Castles greatly interest me, for the US doesn't have any!
-Le Mont St. Michel and St. Michael's Mount in France/England
-If you're not sure what card to send, send a card that you would love to receive yourself and makes you happy! I appreciate every card and the time you took to write it. Also, any greeting or phrase in your native language (if not English) would be wonderful!

Si vous habitiez en un pays francophone, j'aimerais recevoir une carte postale écrite en français! (I've also received cards written in French from users in non-French speaking countries, which were wonderful surprises ;) ).

Don't be afraid to write something! I love reading the postcards as much as seeing the pretty pictures. No particular subject, just something that you find interesting. Postcrossing has brought me so much joy over the years, and it's helped remind me that the world is much bigger than the tiny corner that I sometimes feel stuck in.
