My name is Caitlyn!

I'm a student from the United States, enjoying life and trying to make the world a better place. I loved writing letters and postcards to friends and family, so I decided to branch out to others!

I love all kinds of arts and crafts, though I specifically enjoy journaling, scrapbooking, and writing poetry. I also like skiing, hiking, and photography. I live near the White Mountains in the Northeast, and have hiked the tallest in the region: Mt. Washington (several times).

I read fiction (preferably historical fiction, such as the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon), listen to all kinds of music (classic rock, indie, country, etc.), and enjoy charity work and animal rescues. To give back to the world is one of my greatest ambitions!

I love animals - I have a Cocker Spaniel named Molly and I plan on getting a Blue-Tongued Skink within the next year with my boyfriend, Stephen. He recently bought some fiddler crabs and they are adorable. We hope to have a house full of assorted pets one day! :)

I would love to hear about your day and how things are in your community. Learning new things about the world is something I treasure.

I love all kinds of postcards, but if you need a few suggestions:
-The Royal Family
-Inge Löök (the Aunties are so cute!)
-Moomins (Also cute!)
-Postallove
-Vintage postcards
-Something truly weird/ exciting/ unusual
-Lots of colors!
-Or the opposite! Gloomy, black & white, Gothic themes
-Animals (especially odd animals like the Hoopoe, or young ones like piglets!)
-A unique view of your country or city (not multiviews) I haven't traveled around the world, so I would love to "travel" through the postcard you send me!

And if you're not sure of what to write about:
Tell me about what you did today, if you've seen a good movie recently, or if you've read a good book. I'd also like to know if you have a favorite local dish. Tell me what it is and I'll definitely look it up! 😊
I think I'm the happiest when someone takes the time to draw something, it's always such a delight to receive a piece of "art" in the mail.
