Hi I'm Carly! I decided to reactivate my postcrossing account because I found my old postcards and letters and felt super emotional.

I'm originally from China but have lived in the US for the past 4 years. Now based in New York as a graphic designer/photographer. I first started to use postcrossing in 2011 when i was 16 years old. I made a lot of friends from here and learned so much about the rest of the world. Now I have a much busier lifestyle but I really want to get back to writing and sharing. There's something beautiful about writing to someone unknown and hoping to get back.

I love traveling and I'm always planning about my next trip. I've been to more than 40 countries and lived in London and Rome for a bit. I love go backpacking and meeting people in hostels, random streets, in the nature. My inspirations always come from the roads.

I love art and design. Whenever I'm free I will always go check out museums and galleries, or take photos around different neighborhoods in New York.

For music, I love electronic music such as techno and house. I go to a lot of this kind of parties and I'm also learning how to mix at the moment. I also listen to a lot of old disco, funk from 70-90s.

My preferable cards are related to contemporary/modern art, photography(streets, portraits), graphic design(typography especially), exhibitions, vintage stuff. I also like cards of nature, beautiful places, or your hometown!
