Hi, I'm Michelle. I live in the desert with my husband and our three cats. I collect postcards, Starbucks cards, and coins from around the world. I've always loved learning about history and different cultures.

I enjoy the following things:

reading - mostly fantasy and YA series, but I'll pick up anything that catches my eye
writing - fiction and letters, and I also like to journal
drawing - mostly pencil sketches, and I've recently gotten into Zentangles
photography - animals and scenic views are my favorite subjects
crafts - my favorites are bead weaving and making chainmail jewelry, but I enjoy many others as well

I'll be thrilled with whatever card you would like to send me, but here are a few ideas:

* wolves, foxes, meerkats, hedgehogs, bats
* owls, ravens, crows
* fantasy creatures (dragons, fairies)
* anything geeky (I love Loki, Marvel in general, LOTR, GOT, The Walking Dead, Supernatural, The Flash and lots more)
* anything to do with books or libraries
* castles, fountain pens, tea or coffee
* a card showing a historical site from your country
* a view of the town/city where you live

I love to meet new people, so please tell me something about yourself! Maybe tell me what book you're currently reading, or the most exciting thing you've ever done, or the one country you would love to visit. Anything, really! Pretty stamps are always appreciated as well.

I've recently started taking a beginners Latin course, and I've become a bit obsessed with it. If you know Latin, feel free to write a sentence or two on your postcard. Maybe one day I'll be able to translate it. :)
