I'm Bubbles (Clare) from the UK. Late 30's. A huge geek at heart. I love films, comics, music, books, animals and tattoos.
My favourite author is Haruki Murakami but I'm also a huge fan of Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

I love all sorts of animation, from Disney to Anime, Cartoon Network to Bellville Rendevous. I don't think I've ever gotten out of my 'Cartoon phase' :-D I'm still a big kid.
I love all things Studio Ghibli, my favourite film being Grave of the Fireflies, with Totoro, Spirited away and Princess Mononoke coming in very close behind.

As for music, I'd say I'm a rock girl but to be honest I like so many different genres I'm not sure I can call myself that any more. Prime example is I'm currently obsessing over Kpop, my favourite groups being FTisland and N.Flying (check them out on YouTube haha) but I love a lot of other groups too including BTS, Pentagon, Dreamcatcher, B.A.P......the list is endless haha. It's not just music though I love all things Korean at the moment, especially the food! I'm actually visiting Seoul in October, excited isn't the word!
*Update* SEOUL WAS AMAZING! I've got massive holiday blues now, and really want to go back. The food, the people, the sights were ALL amazing. I miss it so much T.T

I'm not much of a traveler but I hope to change that this year so tell me what it's like to live in your country. Where's good to visit? What's the best thing to eat there?

I'll talk about most things but try to avoid politics and religion. Get me talking about my dogs and I can talk for hours. I have 2 rescue dogs called Cash and Issac and they are pretty much my fur babies. I love nothing more than cuddling on the sofa with them and my husband watching geeky films and Kdramas all night.

I'm looking forward to hearing from people all over the world and getting awesome postcards in my mailbox rather than just boring bills. I like funny, random postcards, anything a bit unusual but I'm more than happy to receive anything you want to send me (although try to avoid religious ones if possible) Oh, I do have a weird phobia of whales so please please please NO postcards with ANY sort of whale on (not even cartoon ones..yes I know I'm weird hahah)

Please don't just write 'Greetings from' or 'Happy Postcrossing' and nothing else ☹️ It makes my heart sink when I read those, I want to hear about you, about where you live, what you do, what you like, tell me a joke, anything!
If you don't know much English, write in your language and I'll try and translate it.
