Happy go lucky gal who is fortunate enough to be living amongst the beguiling sights, scents and sounds of London. There is a geek inside me who often ponders over Dickens and Shakespeare, and finds excitement in Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.

I read a lot of historical fiction and crime books and am currently devouring stories set in 16th century London. I love photos of old London. I grew up in East Africa and am often found dreaming of the vast plains of the Rift Valley. My photo albums are full of pictures of trees, lots of trees. It’s a fascination that I thought I’d outgrow but clearly it’s now an obsessive compulsive part of me!

I love summers in London, autumn in New York and winter in Africa and have explored all three places repeatedly over the years. Yellow is my favourite colour, as is blue, black and red.

I like to think that I’m a quirky person with a great sense of humour. Recently fallen in love with Gerhard Gluck’s art and Far Side cartoons. A tom boy at heart, I love football (Liverpool FC) and am a Formula 1 fanatic. I also have a great appreciation for all the small, romantic, pretty things in life, like lamp posts, double decker buses, cityscapes.

And as far as postcards are concerned, I simply would love to receive some your and my favourite things.
