Hello to the world!

My name is Boyu. I was born in China and I grew up in a pretty coastal city --- Qingdao. At the present, I am studying chemistry at Imperial College London. That's my first-year studying abroad, which is a great challenge for me. But I am making great efforts to get used to it.

I'd like to hear about the unique customs and culture where you live. Feel free to share tourist attractions and local delicious food with me as well. If you don’t know what to write on the postcards, I have some recommendations:
1. Your favorite movie. Every kind of them is welcome.
(I am crazy about films and I estimate I have watched 500 movies already)
2. The book you’re reading.
3. The coolest thing that you’ve ever done.
4. A slang or famous saying in your native language.
(please explain it in English briefly)
5. Something you wish you knew as a teenager.
(I am 19 years old and always expect the coming future. But to be honest, I cannot help stopping myself from being anxious about the uncertainty as well.)
6. Some trivia that you think nobody else knows.
7. Your dream or career goals.

For postcards, I don’t have many preferences. But landscape pictures and some lovely cartoon postcards would be better. I would appreciate it if you share the story behind the postcard with me.
