I live in a place called Fargo, North Dakota which happens to be the largest city in the state. There is a movie and TV series named "Fargo" which has made the city's name quite popular and familiar to most around the country.

One area that is very important to me is my career. I am someone who has a unique career that not many have heard about. I am a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I work with students who have any degree of hearing loss and use any types of assistive technology (hearing aids, cochlear implants, BAHAs, etc). I absolutely LOVE my job - it is exactly what I was meant to do. With that, there is a special place in my heart for the Deaf community and Deaf culture. I will be going into my 3rd year of teaching - Yay!
