About Leslie...

I've been collecting postcards for over 30 (!!) years. I live in Texas, but I was born near Seattle, and I've lived in the Atlanta area, as well as small towns in South Carolina and upstate New York (near the 1000 Islands). I travel often to Colorado, which is where my sister lives in a small town in the mountains.

The dog in my avatar is Bella, and she was my very best friend for 13 years. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Nov 1, 2015, and I miss her every day. I adopted a cat (Maxi) in Jan, 2016, but it took me longer to be ready for another dog. I finally adopted Tilly (a Basenji / Beagle mix) in June, 2017. She's a cuddler and loves everyone, including cats.

In addition to postcard collecting, my other interests are crochet, reading, travel, games, genealogy, friends & family.

My favorite postcard topics (no multi-views, please):
* Dogs
* Snowmen
* Wolves
* Giraffes
* Foxes
* Romance (vintage or repro of a vintage image)
* Colorful artwork (NOT abstract) featuring animals, food, city views, children, nature, etc. (an example: http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/FI-2077026)
* Recipes (with colorful photo/artwork of the food)
* Totem Poles
* Rain
* Vintage-style Travel Posters
* Charley Harper artwork
* Black & White Photos
* Dressed Animals
* Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) or Southern Lights (Aurora Australis)
* Mid-Century Modern Architecture & Design (homes, furniture, etc.)
* Olympic Games
* Interesting Signs
* Unusual Statues (not just a famous person or guy on a horse - here's a great example: http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/CA-430590)
* Hockey
* Tulips
* Sunflowers
* Maps
* "New Yorker" magazine covers, especially with dogs, animals, holidays
* Winter Views with frost or snow
* Autumn Views with colorful leaves
* Crafts (knit, sew, crochet, etc)
* Holiday Greetings
* and lots more!

If you're still stuck on what to send, look at my Favorites on my Wall to see types of cards that I'd be thrilled to have in my own collection.

No free cards, please, unless they feature one of the topics mentioned above.

I used to collect free cards, so I have a large stash of them. If you'd like to swap 1 traditional postcard from your area for several free cards, let me know.

If you live in the US and would like to swap 10-100 cards at one time, please get in touch.

I'll consider smaller swaps outside the US, depending on postal rates.
