☺ Howdy Postcrossers,
I like receiving any & all picture postcards. An adcard, double postcard, greeting card, handmade, homemade, notecard, or postal card is okay too; I only ask for a nice picture. A few of my favorite pictures are listed below, but ANY card is welcome.
☻ Please write something on the postcard, even if it is going in an envelope. The words on the back are as desired and cherished as the picture on the front.
I prefer no envelope, but use one if you so choose. Do not write on the bottom ⅝-inch (16mm) of the postcard/envelope. USPS uses that space to print a bar code or apply a sticker, and it obscures any writing. I register every postcard received ASAP, and will try to upload the postcard image later. If I have not received your postcard within 60 days, then please send me a message.
House pets have always been a part of my life. Alas, BeaglesGuy is beagle-less (no dogs) for now, due to my current housing. (That will change as soon as possible.) I am presently owned by 2 cats, sometimes more, sometimes less. The aquarium is in storage, but normally contains various freshwater fish.
I enjoy whale watching, and continue to educate myself and others on related topics. Near me on the West Coast USA, I have the opportunity to see Gray Whales almost year-round. I also volunteer with Whale Watching Spoken Here (www.whalespoken.org) during the annual Eastern Pacific Gray Whale migrations.
I host a radio program on KMUZ, Turner, Oregon, USA. KMUZ broadcasts in the mid-Willamette Valley at 88.5 and 100.7 FM, streams at www.kmuz.org, and can be heard on smart phones and tablets with a Tunein Radio app. [Currently on hiatus.]
In/out of hospitals 2012-2017 and away from Postcrossing. I'm going to try getting back to being a contributor again.
☼ I wish you a truly wonderful day. Happy Postcrossing!
