About Marko...

Hello, everyone.

I am honored to be a part of the wonderful community of PostCrossing and have the utmost respect for the creative minds behind the project.

Though I am no stranger to worldwide exchange networks, it was only recently that I got bitten by the postcard bug. I have been an avid collector ever since, but it wasn't until a late night photo sharing session with a friend and an image of a six-foot refrigerator dressed in postcards from all corners of the globe that I came to learn about PostCrossing. In the years to come I will put as much effort into the system as my time and means will allow and hope to succeed in spreading the word of the beautiful country of Croatia in the process.

Although I'm an absolute nut for aerial/scenic/bird's eye/skyline/wide views, I believe the message of PostCrossing is that of openness and generosity and therefore I have no requests, preferences or wishes as to the type or theme of the postcard, stamps, content or language of the message, should one come included. I will deeply appreciate any and every card I receive and I promise to keep them safe and well-preserved.

As it is declared above, I am also open to exchanges outside the PostCrossing system, so if you're interested in direct card swaps, just say the word. Similarly, if you happen to run across this page and just feel like striking up a conversation or saying hello, feel free to do so. As a die-hard traveler and cosmopolite, I am always looking to form new friendships and learn about people's cultures and ways of life along the way.

In what I'm sure will come to be years of surprises in your mailbox and mine, I hope to be able to contribute to this community in the same volume as others have done before me and I look forward to chipping in my dollar into the PostCrossing cash box again in the future.

I stand humble at the crossing of the postcards of the world.
