About Anna...

My name is Anna and I live in Western Bohemia, Czech Republic, in the town called Pilsen. I was born here and I've been living here my whole life except for some time spent abroad.

I like to learn and use foreign languages and have been always interested how the life and living are in different countries abroad. I have spent an exchange year at a Bavarian grammer school (Weiden, Germany), a semester at University in Montpellier, France, and 3 months on internship at the European Parliament in Luxemburg. But that all seems so far away to me. I spent several years at home with our two wonderful boys (4,5 and 6 years old) and I just started working again lately.

I love reading books, Scandinavian thrillers are my favourites right now. Travelling is my big hobby as well, either abroad or within my country, there are so many nice places to see and discover everywhere. When I have time, I also like sewing, baking and cooking.

I would really appreciate if you could write me something about you, for example about the place/country you live in, about your hobbies, your dreams, what is your favourite book or favourite quote... If you speak German, French or Spanish, please do write in your language! I love English but it is very refreshing to receive a card written in a different language sometimes!
Any postcard is welcome but if you would like some inspiration, these are my areas of interest :)
- cultural and natural heritage of your country, could be UNESCO heritage sites
- landscapes
- city views
- traditional costumes of your region/country
- books/libraries
- art/gallery pictures
- bikes
- old wind mills
- lavender
- Fachwerkhäuser
- bridges
- lighthouses
- sea
- railways, trains, trams

I try to scan every postcard received or sent to you. If I fail to do so, I would be very grateful if you could scan it after reception. Thank you!
