About Amy...

I am so excited to have found this website. I love to write letters and send postcards, and never realized so many people feel the same way that I do! I love getting cards from around the world, what a great idea!

I am the Publisher of a magazine called Natural Awakenings. I put together the issue for the Chicago and Western Suburbs area. I love it very much, and find it very rewarding. I also work as a Registered Sleep Technologist. I am blessed to truly love both of my jobs. They keep me busy, so writing a postcard is quick, easy, and makes me feel like I have a lot of mail! I live in a Residence Hotel, because I travel a lot, and so getting mail makes it feel a little bit like home.

If anyone would like to remain pen friends after exchanging postcards, I would love that. I enjoy writing letters, drawing pictures to send, creating artwork, or little books, and sending tiny little gifts. You will always enjoy going to your mail box because I hope to create something wonderful for you. I try to make everything that I send, but sometimes, if I find a postcard or card, I will send it off with a quick note.

I found out about this website when I was reading a book called "Good Mail Day" at Barnes and Noble. (My favorite place to go! For those not familiar, it is a bookstore and coffee shop. I am addicted to both!)

I am friendly and outgoing, and hope to hear from people who would like to write. I have been discouraged a bit from the penpal websites, and Postcrossings does not seem anything like that at all, so I am really looking forward to seeing how many postcards I can send out!

I am truly blessed in my life, and I hope to be a blessing to you!

Please send me a postcard, and I will send you one too! If you would like more correspondence, just let me know. I am truly thankful to the people that put this website together. Thank you so much for a way to communicate in the world in a great way! Emails are okay, but they do not compare to a letter sent in the mail! I can look forward to going to my mailbox again!
