Hi! I'm Rachel Lee :) I'm 21 years old now and I've lived in Southern California my whole life. My first language is English but I also study Dutch and Spanish. I'm good at reading them both and would love to eventually become fluent. My boyfriend is Dutch and living in the Netherlands and I have family in Norway, Australia, and scattered all over the US! My ideal/favorite countries are probably New Zealand and/or Canada! xD I have been lucky enough in my life to travel across the United States, parts of Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, and Italy and I love sending and collecting postcards from every place that I'm able to visit!

I would love to learn about your culture! So send me a postcard with a note on it from you about the picture on the postcard and a bit about yourself as well! xD

Any postcard that you think is representative of your country/culture would be awesome, but I especially love getting ones with (in no particular order):
- multiple pictures/photos
- architecture (especially old Dutch, German, Greek, and Chinese buildings/houses :D)
- scenery (I LOVE the Northern Lights! and snow and mountains and trees and nature)
- pretty city views/cities at night
- unique cultural things about your city or country! (like your flag, map, words in your language, special/touristic sites, regional animals/flowers (I love Dutch tulips but my favorite flowers are poppies :D), etc)
- cute/funny/weird WILD animals from your country (especially the weird animals from Australia!) Tigers are my favorite animal! ;D
- I also LOVE birds :) I collect feathers and would love to see one on a postcard (but I don't think that would be very likely, haha)

The only things that I really prefer NOT to receive on postcards:
- sports
- people
- cartoons/drawings/black and white pictures (I like real photos, in COLOR ;D)
- food
But, of course, I will be happy with any postcard that you choose to send me, especially if you tell me what about the picture on the card made you want to send it! :)

Please, no advertisements, handmade postcards, or anything other than a postcard! I prefer standard sized postcards with stamps on them, not inside of an envelope ;P And I'd appreciate it if you wrote the date that you sent the postcard (and maybe that date's temperature wherever the postcard is from xD)!

If your postcard has been travelling to me for more than 45 days and you think that it's lost, then feel free to send me a message with its ID and I'd be happy to register it for you! :)
