About Christina...

Hello! My name is Christina. I'm 27 and I currently live just south of Nashville, TN, USA . I have lived all over the US, in a total of 9 states (IL, MO, NV, AZ, MN, TN, OH, TX, and DC), but Nashville is the place I hope to call home for a long time. I have traveled to Mexico, Italy, France, Monaco, Croatia, Greece, and China as well as many places in the US. I'm a speech-language pathologist, and I work with people who have had strokes and brain injuries, which I LOVE! I live with my husband Jonathan (we are newlyweds - married September 17th, 2016!), and we have two cats named Ezra and Lila Jean. I started collecting postcards two years ago as a way of keeping in touch with distant friends, and I've come to appreciate the thrill of sending and receiving correspondence, and the way it can connect you to people you know as well as people you've never met. :)

My passions include...
- language and linguistics
- the human body/anatomy (especially neuroscience!)
- healthcare/medicine
- literature and poetry
- music...Bob Dylan on vinyl is my favorite
- playing the hammered dulcimer
- Russian history/culture/language/art
- animals (especially cats, big and small)
- food and wine
- gardening
- being outdoors, particularly in the mountains.
- visiting and learning about new cities
- crafting, especially crochet and cross-stitch.
- running and lifting weights

I would love postcards related to any of the above topics, or related to the country/city/state/etc where you live. I'd rather have a message about you than a blank. :) I studied Russian and Polish in college, so postcards in those languages would be wonderful, though I can't promise I'll understand every word. I would be ESPECIALLY excited for postcards featuring matryoshka/nesting dolls, because I collect those :) But I'm happy to receive anything!

Thank you!
