Postcrossing seems like a really fun take on a game of coincidence and chance. I trust you to pick a postcard that you find interesting.

This is a tough year for me. While things are improving and I am healthy (knock-knock-knock) there is an avalanche of change. Any words of optimism and encouragement are much appreciated.
If it costs you the same, I welcome cards in an envelope. This way you can write more, if you feel like, and the cards are not beat up. I understand there is a look of a well traveled card, but sometimes they look like they’ve been run over and took no pleasure in the travels ;)

If there is a broad choice, I guess, my preferences would be in cards with:
*Gothic, Victorian Steampunk art: costumes, architecture - anything!
*artistic drawings, paintings, illustrations, photography;
*Books!!!
*images of or related to circus;
*people;
*plants (trees included), flowers, preferably something growing in your area,
*birds, insects, fish, octopus,
*landscapes and oceanscapes,
*altars, Buddhas,
*Atelier Nouvelles cards ***

as well as unusual postcards, vintage ones and handmade.

Please, WRITE!
I enjoy reading cards as much as, or may be even more than, looking at them.
Write about your favorite smells, colors, food, clothes. Or write about your place and what makes it unique, or
- what kind of people live there, or
- what's on your mind, or
- a little story about you or something that happened to you, or
- a meaning of your name and why your parents chose that name for you,
- how you were born, or how your child was born (I am a birth doula)
- what you love, or
- what kind of people are your friends, or

...something spontaneous.
