Hi, and welcome to my profile! So, you have got my address and wonder what to send to me...
Here is a bit about me to make it easier for you. :-)
I am a teacher of English, Danish and singing, so your cards might be even used in some of my classes! I teach mainly adults and I live in Prague.
I like singing and music, reading books and beautiful things in general. I drink a lot of tea and enjoy good chocolate, love locally produced food and I am curious about different cultures. I lived in Denmark for some time and I love everything Scandinavian, but I when I travelled, I also enjoyed Portugal and Italy and would love to go back one day!
Art postcards welcome as well as the postcards showing some beautiful places in your country, any river, lake, sea, waterfall is great, nice pictures of cities, flowers or interesting animals (elephants, foxes, butterflies and polar bears are something I really enjoy). If you are from Britain, I would love to get some Lake District pictures, as I grew up reading A. Ransome and his Swallows and Amazons, but I have never been able to visit this place, so postcards from this area are my very secret dream.
Autumn cards during autumn, winter cards during winter. Christmas cards.... yes, please!
Also, your cards are really interesting for my young niece, so Moomins and blue cats are favourites here! So are crazy Old Ladies, drawn by Inge Löök.
However, do take this list only as something to inspire you - feel free to send me any picture you like - just tell me something about it - why you like it and why you chose it.
I will be happy to read more about the day when you sent the postcard. And since I love organising charity concerts, I would like to know what charity you support and why.
Do not send any ads, please. I have more than enough of these for free at home - no need to import more from abroad. :-)
My fine motor skills are not too good due to some slight disability, so I appreciate it a lot when you scan the cards you are sending to me and I do not have to do it myself. I try to scan the ones I send out, when I can. If you got a card from me that was not uploaded to postcrossing, it means the scanner was down on that day or I was running out of patience with my fingers, but I will be happy to see the card up, if you like it....
Have a great day and I look forward to hearing from you.
I will be away from home between 16th Jan and 13th February 2022. If you have a card travelling my way, please rest assured. I have made arrangements with my mum to forward the card IDs to me as soon ans the cards arrive in the mailbox, so they will get registered in a timely manner.
