My name is Amanda Smith. Born and raised in Texas. My parents were "country folk" from rural Texas towns, they came to the city of Pasadena (just outside Houston) in the 1950s to start a family and for work opportunities. My father worked in petro chemical plants which are abundant in Pasadena. And here I still am. Roots grow deep. I am teaching myself Spanish. I have two daughters who are the blessings of my life. My little one takes ballet and gymnastics. My oldest one is in college. I am a retired nurse. I enjoy gardening in the fall and early spring, bird watching, and cinema. I have a deep appreciation for high quality photography with rich colors and unique shots on postcards. I will be grateful for any kind of card but if you happen to have my favorites are:

- Bicycles
- map-style, flags, state birds, flowers, cats, animals
- City view, Nature View, Touristy,multi view, collages
- cultural / festivals / traditional clothing / people
- coffee, tea, desserts
- vintage (1969 and older) or modern vintage "style" or black and white..used or unused. (Im too old to find anything from the 1970s "vintage").
- anything related to science / technology. Planes, Ships.
- anything unusual
- handmade.
- not a fan of animated or quote cards :-(.
