Hello. I live out here in the city of Albuquerque in the middle of New Mexico in the USA. It's a desert with lots of sunshine and warm or hot weather. I teach Spanish and English as a Second Language at a high school here. I like to read about history and current events. I like to draw and paint--when I can. I like to write. I like to ice skate. I get interested in learning about new topics every week. So my current interests change frequently. For example, this week I'm interested in reading about World War 2, art journaling, writing and a new workout that doesn't require free weights but uses the body's own weight for resistance. These interests could change in a few weeks. Basically, I am very curious about the world and I like learning about it through reading, experience, communicating with others (talking, email, snail mail) and traveling. This summer I traveled to Portugal and Scotland. In the past I've traveled extensively throughout Mexico and I will probably be going again to Portugal during the Christmas or winter break between semesters. Next summer I hope to visit Spain and perhaps Morocco and revisit Scotland. I especially like postcards that show me what your city looks like.
