A new Swiss built, diesel powered cog train climbing up to the summit of Pikes Peak. These 200 passenger trains make several trips daily from the depot in Manitou Springs to the top of the 14,110 foot (4,301 meter) high mountain. An alternative is to drive the roadway up to the top and there is an annual automobile race up the mountain. |
