It's funny--it looks as if this card was photographed on old tatami, much like the flooring in my house. Be that as it may, I do like the scene this painting (Caleb Bingham's "Jolly Flatboatmen in Port) portrays, although the Black members of the crew don't look look quite as jolly as the others. Maybe it's their posture--sigh!
