I find the message of this card concerning, even though I understand the idea behind it. Some of the demands I even agree are against the guidelines. But I think we should respect the point "Be mindful of everyone's differences, and always be polite and respectful." The Guidelines also says "If you mention which postcards you like in your profile...". So it is not forbidden to express wishes, as I point out in my profile, that it is also possible to send cards to Europe without a USA global stamp. That's not a demand - go read the wording in my profile and form your own opinion!
It's also completely okay if someone has a phobia and therefore doesn't want a certain motif (e.g. snakes, reptiles). If a Russian LGBT Postcrosser wants the card to be sent in an envelope => totally okay! It is also not a sign of respect if someone sends a card with a Bible verse to an Islamic country!

BTW: The sender of this postcard has already contacted me before - THIS is a violation of the Postcrossing Community Guidelines...

Well, Thomas, you're definitely in the minority here!
Not sure if you can see all the positive comments about this card, and how frequently it has been marked as a "favorite."
I have also printed and shipped over 200 of them to the many Postcrossers who want to send them out!
Peace,
Lani

You are really funny, Lani! I found seven such cards in your sent wall. And yes, one of them actually has over 180 people who favorite it (The other six have a total of 11 favorites) and made some comments. Then when I read the profile of some people who commented on it... some of them would also get this postcard from you - LOL.
Postcrossing has over 800,000 members. Even if only 10% of them were still active, your 180 supporters would be around 0.25%. You call that a majority?!
Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I call this misperception.

Fun fact:
The next postcard I registered was from Crystal (Iowa City). She wrote me: "I just read your tip about the U.S. stamp. ... I'm going to get regular stamps from now on. Thanks for the tip."
