Dóm Square (Szeged, Hungary) and the Roman Catholic Votive Church of “Our Lady of Hungary”. This building is the symbol of Szeged. It is the 4th biggest cathedral of Hungary. Construction began in 1913 and it was completed in 1930. It was built to give thanks for survival the great flood. The Dóm Square is exactly the same size as St. Mark's Square in Venice. The square is surrounded by arcaded buildings of the University of Szeged.
