The Slave Transit Camp – Paga Nania is found in the Upper East Region of Ghana. This village is the site of 15th century slave transit camp. On the “Pinkworo”(Rocks of Fear) are markings said to have resulted from the slapping of hands and the stamping of feet by agonized slaves. It is also said that slaves used stones to make music on the rocks which left marks. |
