Wow what is this postcard about? It seems very political, I love it thou x

According to the information printed on back of the postcard it's a traditional dance mask from Nicaragua that is used to protect identity. You are right though, it seems to convey a political message as well...The photo is from year 1978, so maybe it has something to do with the dictatorship.
