is one of the most successful children's programmes on German television. At the heart of the programme are so-called laughter stories and factual stories, which in addition to short animated films also include a knowledge film, for example about the production or functioning of an everyday object.
It has been broadcast on Sunday mornings since 1971. The programme is produced by WDR in cooperation with other ARD member broadcasters.
