It first opened its doors in 2005. It has been renovated and re-opened in 2012 in Bait Saeed Al Taweel Al Shamsi, in the Heart of Sharjah.

Sharjah is one of the seven emirates, which make up the United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪.

The museum offers a great chance to engage in the rich heritage of Sharjah and the Emirati culture, with a focus on Sharjah residents’ lifestyle over the past decades. Here, you can learn and get inspired by the deep-rooted Emirati customs and traditions. The museum provides a child-friendly atmosphere, with a series of folklore tales, old sayings and puzzles.
