About Suyog...

Namaskaram!

I am Suyog, a passionate aficionado of postcards and everything related to snail mail. Residing in the lovely city of Bengaluru in the south of India, my love affair with handwritten correspondence on postcards and vintage stamps began early in my childhood and continues even today. My eyes are guaranteed to light up at the sight of a carefully curated collection of postcards, each telling a unique story from distant corners of the world.

In my home, I never fail to find solace while browsing through my numerous albums filled with stamps and neatly organized postcards from around the globe. Alongside in my journey through the world of mail, is the love of my life, Kanchana who shares my enthusiasm, and our son, Chaitanya who is learning to appreciate the art of handwritten communication in an increasingly digital age.

I believe each postcard represents a tangible connection to different cultures, traditions, and perspectives. As I eagerly await the arrival of each postcard in my mailbox, I find great joy in the anticipation of discovering the unique stories and experiences contained within each of them creating bonds that transcend borders and time zones.

Regarding cards that delight me the most - I would love to receive illustrated postcards (especially vintage ones) that depict the culture and heritage of your region. Also those with illustrated depictions of postal themes (postboxes, post offices etc.), costumes, festivals and traditions. I also collect postcrossing meetup and maxi cards in particular, and so if you have one that you can spare, I would be grateful. But do not worry, I consider every postcard as beautiful and relish every card that I receive.

Happy Postcrossing!
