About Irina...

Hyvät ystävät! Opettelen Suomea. Ole hyvä ja kirjoita minulle jotain suomeksi :)

Hello there!

My name is Irina, I'm originally from Moscow, but now I live and work in St. Petersburg - I moved here in searching for love and I think I've found one. But it is still hard for me to live so far away from my parents and friends, so postcrossing is helping me to stay connected to the society :)
I'm interested in traveling, getting known new places and people. I also like handcrafting, reading books and watching TV-shows (now I'm watching Sherlock BBC, House M.D. and Fringe, TBBT and Doctor Who, Criminal Minds and Desperate Housewives, but I'm also big Friends and Star Trek TOS fan!) and movies (my favorites are The Shawshank Redemption, Back to the Future and Ever After).
As for postcards I would love to receive something with:
- squirrels (my nickname means "squirrel" in Czech);
- maps (I'm found of metro map postcards, but I know these ones are very rare...);
- black&white pictures, vintage cards or reprints of vintage postcards, photos, posters and ads;
- movies and tv-shows characters - posters, stills, ads, portraits of actors etc. (my favourite beside House and Wilson, Oliv and Peter are Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings characters);
- Christmas, Easter, St Patrick's Day cards or any cards with your favorite holiday;
- city-views (multiviews in particular for my postcarddoor).

Please write a couple of words about yourself on the card - don't send me blank postcard.

I would also be glad to swap especially with fellow-postcrossers from Finland, since I've started to learn Finnish recently ;)

Happy postcrossing!
