My name is Monique,

I live in Almere which is a town near Amsterdam.
I am a PE teacher at a highschool in my town and love my job. I also like reading, though nowadays it is mainly a story for my son ;)
Beside my wonderful job I love being a mom for my son.

Every card I receive makes me smile and some I even read to my son, especially when he recognizes a picture on the card (spongebob, disney or an animal)

I am half Irish and my parents chose to raise me bilingual (Dutch and English). So you can write the cards in one of these languages.

I love postcards which are pictures taken by night (with lots of lights ;-)), landscapes and I love disney (especially Mickey Mouse). But any card is more than welcome.

I truly love Christmas, so all kind of Christmas cards are welcome. And if you have any other seasonal cards you can send them to me too.

- Why and how did you join postcrossing?
- Write a little story for my boy

It makes my day, when I get home and there is a card for me.....
