About Silvia...
Hi fellow postcrosser!
IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE READING MY LONG PROFILE BUT WANT HELP FOR CHOOSING A CARD, JUST CHECK MY FAVORITES!
------------------------------------------------------------------
I love "nude" postcards written and stamped but it's really cool when I get an envelope with anything else inside: a letter, a newspaper clipping, a tree leaf, a drawing, a used phone card... anything that makes a card unique! Of course only if you have time and you enjoy doing it as I do!
I also like stamps so if you choose a nice ine I get even happier!!
------------------------------------------------------------------
For people interested in DIRECT SWAPS: I love doing them but I do have to say NO in my profile because the requests are too many! You can try and ask but I can’t guarantee that I could answer it…
------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m from Spain and now Mindelo (in the island of São Vicente) is my new home. I love it here! I hope I can contribute to let the world know a little bit more about this wonderful and unknown small Atlantic country.
I like to keep myself learning, specially through direct experience, traveling and reading. I also like flamenco, reggae, South American music, music from Cape Verde, European and world cinema, Jorge Amado and Gabriel García Márquez, good food, good wine, having fun with friends and family, photography, hot weather, drawing and dancing (though I’m not very good at them :) and people who want to make the world better.

- AN EXTREMLY SPECIAL REQUEST :) If you live in New York, San Francisco or Miami, I'd absolutely love to get a postcard with anything related to the Spanish/Latin quarters: East Harlem, Mission District and Little Havana or ANY OTHER LATIN CULTURE EXPRESSION IN ANY OTHER CITY OF THE WORLD. Thanks! Of course, even if you don't find such specific postcards, I'll be very glad to learn anything about this places and about latin inmigration in general.
I also collect fridge magnets.
If you're learning Spanish my blog may be useful! I hope so!
