Hi! My name is Shirley and I'm from Costa Rica. I'm a Psychology student, and 23 years old. I just LOVE postcards and have been exchanging them for a while now (look at them on my Flickr: http://flickr.com/photos/shirley-postcards/), but it's just until now (January 2009) that I'm starting to be active on this site, I'm SO excited! :) I actually love sending and receiving mail in general. Some other things I enjoy are reading, nature, animals, traveling, languages, cooking and eating.

Unique cards are my favorite, the weirdest and less common are the best. But I also like all the others kinds.

I prefer my postcards stamped and written on, but if you need to put them blank on an envelope then that's okay too.

- Weird/unique (I won't get offended, send me that card you're afraid to send anyone else)
- Funny
- Drawings/illustrations/graphics
- Erotic/sex/naked
- Psychology related
- Animals (cute, scary, wild, weird, farm ones... I like them all!)
- Food or Recipes
- Colorful!
- Cute/girly/pink
- Text on postcards
- Maps, flags, symbols, traditions
- Artsy, especially Art Unlimited
- Famous people/places/things
- Nice handmade cards
- Cool Ad cards, especially Boomerang!
- Antarctica, Arctic, Africa, Middle East, or any rare country
- Some card that you think is cool ;)
- Kawaii

In postcards I appreciate:

- You writing the date you send the postcard on
- Write your username and that it's from Postcrossing and the reason (Private Trade, RAS, etc.) because I exchange many cards
- Anything you want to share with me (writing about yourself, about the postcard, your country, a quote, a poem, etc.)
- Nice stamps
- Any kind of decoration if you want: stickers, drawings, colors, etc
-It'd be great if you can translate anything that is written in another language on the back of the card :)

Other things I love:

- Stickers
- Scrapbook supplies
- Ephemera (from magazines, advertising, calendars, etc... with nice colors and images, I use it to make cards)
- Stationery (and all paper products)
- Greeting cards and note cards
- Markers, and other things to draw with
- Earrings of any material (love them! also the most unique the better)

There's no ad or movie cards in my country so I can't exchange those, sorry.
