About Saskia...

Hmmm, what's there to tell about me?
I'm a mom, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a chef. Basically a good "girl", but with a few bad habbits! (Getting tatooed is one of them, at least according to my mother...)
We live in a common house with a small garden where we grow only edible plants like cherries, grapes, aples, tomatoes, herbs etcetera.
We've got some animals too. Cats, chickens, different kinds of stickbugs, centipedes, praying mantises (paradoxa) and a horse (Cheval de Merens).

I like horsebackriding, cook-/travelbooks, chocolat, ice-cream, weird hand-bags, Bollywood, Tim Burton, kitschy things,old stuff, drinking tea, finding treasures at flea markets and to tinker at second-hand furniture.
I love to travel (but I don't get to do that often...)

I very much enjoy postcards with
* anything edible(and recipes!)
* old and weathered buildings/cars/anything...
* stairs, doors and doorways
* 50's advertising and pin-ups
* steampunk
* wildlife/animals(especialy "ugly"/unusual animals)
* seahorses and leafy/weedy sea-dragons
* bugs/insects
* cemeteries/graveyards, coffins, hearses, crypts, gargoyles...
* (Sugar)skulls and Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)
* Our Lady of Guadeloupe
* tea
* black&white
But any other card you would like to receive yourself, will also be welcomed. I also love free/add cards when they are nice, pretty, funny or about food.

Just NO cards of clowns please, they scare me!

I prefer cards without envelopes, I like it when the card shows its "travel-scars" proudly....
