If your cards to the U.S. seem to be taking a long time to get registered, check to be sure that are you sending them via air mail. If not, they can take up to 3 months to arrive. So, please put air mail postage and write the words Air Mail on your postcards to speed up the delivery to just a few weeks.

The U.S. government keeps talking about shutting down several thousand post offices across the country, laying off 200,000+ workers, and eliminating Saturday deliveries (for starters). That would be a terrible shame. Who knows how quickly this will happen.
