About Marianne...

Hello, nice that you visit me!

My name is Marianne,
I live with my husband and two kids (11 and 8 years old), in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I like (vegetarian) cooking, baking applepies, running, photography and writing letters. I'm also working parttime as a management assistent.

I wish I had found out about postcrossing earlier. I subscribed a few months ago and I have sent 100 cards now!
I'm always very excited when my card is received and registered. Then I can send another card! I really enjoy reading all the profiles to see which card can make you happy!
Of course I am also glad with all the cards I receive.

I would love to build a special collection of postcards
To give you an idea of what cards I like:
(in no specific order)

- apples
- mail / mailbox
- teapots / tea related (I'm collecting teapots, but cards take less space)
- birds
- buddha
- butterflies
- coffee
- colourful cards
- childrens book drawings
- nature in your country
- black and white photos
- little details / macro photography
- nouvelles images (multiples or other)
- wooden shoes (klompen)
- handmade is also welcome, show me your passion!

Do you need more suggestions? I like a lot! Take a look at my favourites or sent cards to see what kind of cards I like. If possible please choose a single view without text on the front side.

Just a postcard or a card in a nice envelop, you make me happy with both. Special stamps are also welcome.

I won't send you an add card or free card (unless you collect them), I hope you won't either.

I love it when you write me something. I am really interested in who sent me the card, so please share your life with me, tell me about yourself, how you live, or how your day was like.
Or send me that recipe of your grandmothers applepie..

another question: can you also write the date and your profile name on the card? It is so much nicer to write a message (when I register your card) when I know who will be the recipient.

I can't wait to find your card on my doormat.You can be sure I will register it right away...
