It has been a year since I started postcrossing :D There were a few reasons why I started. And now there are over a thousand reasons why I continue to send hundreds of cards to people I don't know. My likes are simple: colors bright red,mellow yellow, hazy blues,navy blues any and all.
I create new things out of old things and try to live by the four Rs (reduce-reuse-recycle-reclaim). I am determined to consume less and smile more.
I could spend all day in a museum, any kind of museum. Did you know that there is a museum shop at the county coroner's in Las Angeles CA. I read a lot of history books, and magazines that inform me on the things that I know nothing about (which is an enormous amount).
It has been such fun sending and receiving cards and comments from such a wide selection of people. I find myself looking at postcards when ever I go anywhere (even the drug store. All the postcards I have received have been lovely. I will appreciate any kind of card but recently I read that there are postcards from Antartica :D. I've always wanted to go there -but until then I'd love to get a postcard. And if you write a little something, so much the better.
