Hello,
My name is Kate and I'm a university student from Pennsylvania, but I go to school in Oregon. I study psychology. At home I have two big, furry dogs named Snickers and Rex. I really like to cook and try new foods, but I'm not that interested in recipe cards. I would be interested to know what kinds of foods you like, or what foods are popular in your area. I just think a lot of recipe cards are unattractive.

I would be happy to receive any postcard that you send but I particularly like/am trying to collect:

-UNESCO World Heritage sites
-National Parks and Monuments (especially United States)
-state/province/country flags and maps
-views of your city, town, region, country
-Moomin
-Hello Kitty
-Nouvelles Images multiples
-animals native to your country

Or you can surprise me! I don't know about all the different kinds of postcards out there, so if you have one that is similar to one of my favorites that you think I might like, send it! If you're at a loss for what to send, I really like these things and would love to see them on a postcard: elephants, cows, sheep, owls, The Simpsons, big furry dogs, Japan and kawaii, Pokemon, knitting, Legos, whales, Futurama, hedgehogs, Esperanto, sailing boats, penguins, ancient Egypt... I'm pretty open, as long as it doesn't have Bible verses or meat on it (I'm not religious and I'm a vegetarian).

I have all the world-rate Postcrossing stamps, thanks Dutch Postcrossers! My next goal is getting the Royal Mail Roald Dahl stamps. I have Matilda on the way!

My favorite part is often the message on the card! You could tell me about your favorite food, any pets you have, or your favorite movie. As for me, I like macaroni and cheese, I have two dogs, and my favorite movies include Harold & Maude and Real Genius.

I am lucky to have a scanner at home and also at school, so all my sent and received cards will be scanned and posted for the postcard wall!

I'm now posting received cards on my blog. If you're sending a card and prefer not to have your card put up there, or any other privacy concerns, please send me a message when you send the card (you can even write it on the card). I don't put up addresses or anything of a sensitive nature, but I think everyone should be informed.
