About Kerry...

I live in Burnaby, just one block east of Vancouver, British Columbia.

I'm an Equine Massage Therapist, I work at the local Thoroughbred racetrack during the racing season.

I have a spry senior cat named Sid, he's my best buddy and he makes me laugh everyday! He started writing a 'daily' blog in 2011, we'd love for you to take a look. http://marmaladealarmclock.blogspot.com/
I think he just might make you laugh, too.

I'll like just about any card that you send me, especially if it's a card that you would like to receive. Maybe something that makes you proud, makes you smile, or amazes you.
I love surprises and appreciate a good sense of humour. I don't mind cards that others may consider offensive, as long as it not blood and gore.

I'm not fond of overly cute postcards, especially babies and pastel paintings of animals (especially if the animals are wearing clothes!). Please, send those ones to someone else, as they are just wasted on me.

That being said, if you need some help, some of the things I might like are:

~if you happen to have a postcard that is related to horse racing, Thoroughbreds, jockeys, race tracks, racing silks, polo, jumping, steeplechase, dressage, etc., I would appreciate that more than anything. I love horses, and I like horse-related postcards, but I don't want to collect 'regular' horse postcards, I have enough horse stuff! I don't mind if it's an exceptionally nice card, or the horse is part of the landscape. Funny horse cards are welcome, too.
**UPDATE**
My friend just won The Kentucky Derby riding I'll Have Another!! If you happen to have any local newspaper or magazine articles on Mario Gutierrez and his Triple Crown journey, please, please, please, send them to me. I would be very grateful! =)

Some other ideas:

~Absolut vodka
~gargoyles
~nostalgic movie stars/posters. Musicians. (no Harry Potter, Twilight, or the like, please. Vampires are yucky.)
~city lights at night (neon)
~vibrant colour (neon lights, anything bright and eye-catching, but not too gaudy, please)
~Monty Python
~sunsets/sunrises. Lightning. Aurora borealis/australis. Weather phenomena.
~beaches (especially tropical...aahhhhh)
~if you live near a famous landmark/'tourist-trap'/road-side attraction (Eiffel Tower, Niagara Falls, Great Wall, Stonehenge, World's Largest Ball of Twine, etc), please send me one of those

No envelopes, please (unless you're sending news clippings, of course!). I like seeing the stamps from your country, please don't use a postage meter.

I'd be pleased if you could write the date on the postcard and what the weather/temperature is where you are.

Cheers!
