About Kim...

I am a 51 year old woman who still feels like she is 21. I am a registered nurse in a clinic for Native Americans. I am married to a wonderful man and have a 22 year old daughter who is my best friend:). We are a close family.

I grew up in Michigan, but have lived in Alaska for over 14 years near Denali National Park. My husband and I have had sled dogs for over 20 years. We have a small homestead and recently got commercial electricity and telephone/internet. We are staying in the city of Fairbanks for a short time so we can be closer to our jobs and our daughter while she attends university.

I am a fan of sci-fi movies like Star trek, Star Wars, & Dune and enjoy world history. If I were a flower, I'd be a daisy & if I were a bug, I'd be a dragonfly! I love learning new things, especially about other places and cultures. I look forward to the day that I can travel and see some of the countries I have received postcards from.

Living out my faith in Christ by loving others is important to me. I also enjoy cooking, various crafts, and volunteering.

My 97 year old grandfather has collected postcards for most of his life and I decided to examine his passion. I'm finding it rewarding, addictive, and that I look forward to the 5 mile drive to the post office.

I enjoy all the cards I receive and it is nice to get a glimpse into the lives of the wonderful people who send me cards.
