I'm Betty, I live in a small town - Ajka- in Hungary.
I've been collecting postcards for many years, I have some doubles, which I don't want to get wasted, I think I've found the best place for giving them away:-))))
I collect postcards ABOUT PLACES - FIRST AND FOREMOST - everything is somewhere, so this is a very wide category - you can send me whatever you think fits in:-)
I like cards about my favourites as well.

*Michael Jackson
*The Lord of The Rings trilogy or anything Tolkien related
*The Hobbit
*anything Nicolas Cage
*anything Benedict Cumberbatch and/ or Sherlock
*all three Crime Scene Investigation series
*Dexter, Bones, Lie to Me television series (I know it's ended)
*Harry Potter
*Calla lilies
*Royal families (all over the world)

I don't really like ad, free or handmade cards - unless they are about any of the above:-)(simply because I buy the cards I send)
I don't collect Christmas, Easter or any other 'occasion cards', so please don't send such type, unless they are somehow related to my favourites. (If you like those I can send you.)

Most of the postcards I send are about Hungarian places (villages, towns, cities or other interesting spots in the country, because (I think) most people don't really know where Hungary is - at least outside Europe) I have to admit I'm surprised how many of you have already been to Hungary, though:-))

Almost all my cards are multi-view! (very typical of Hungarian cards)

I always write some information about the place in the postcard:-))

I collect cards from many possible sources, so I often get doubles which are written/ used. I know there are collectors for whom it's not a problem, if you don't mind getting such cards, please write it to me. (I also don't mind getting such cards when they fit)

When you collect stamps I respect that, but I'll send these cards ALWAYS in an envelope (even if you write not to) and I have as many stamps put on the envelope as possible:-)or put some into it. I don't collect, but I try to save them for you:-)

I always register the card the day I get it.

About private swaps:
I'm always open to and happily do private swaps as I know Hungary is a small country and not very well-known outside Europe. But I often don't get any cards in return, even if the sender has promised or writes they have posted it. I don't really know if this is the fault of the postal service (in some countries it's terribly slow) or the person loses interests in Postcrossing, or doesn't like the card I'd sent previously, but unfortunately I've been disappointed several times. So if you don't intend to send me any, don't ask. (I mean no offence) Nonetheless I'm still optimistic and trust people, because not everybody is the same:-)))
