About Emma...
Hi, I'm Emma from the Netherlands! My major is Scandinavian Laguages&Cultures, and from august I hope to study and live in Lund (south of Sweden) for a year.
I'd like:
any kind of modern art (and some of my favourite painters are Rene Magritte, Fernando Botero, Edward Hopper, Kasimir Malevich and Frida Kahlo)
anything vintage/retro
pin-ups
modern/retro furniture or interior in general
fashion
illustrations of cats! (like Anna Hollerer, Jetoy, www.tukituk.ru)
children book characters, especially Pettson&Findus, Moomin,
Nils Holgersson, drawings by Fiep Westendorp
photography
anything that has something to do with Scandinavia
portraits of historic leaders
books/libraries
anything to do with language (Cyrillic/Arabic/Hebrew alphabet)
Although it's probably hard to find, I'd love to get a card that has anything to do with gay love/rights.
You can ofcourse also check my favorites to see what kind of cards I like.
I don't mind ad cards, I especially like to get ad-cards from countries with a "foreign" alphabet.
Please keep in mind that the only thing I really don't like are tourist/multiview-cards, so please send those to someone who wants them and something else to me, there must be something you can make me happy with!! (:
I like to get random stuff. Receipts and advertisement in different languages, photographs, bustickets/traintickets from different countries, (piano) sheet music you like, drawings you (or your child) made, little notes ("don't forget to take out the trash!") and especially shopping lists, for some reason I just love them. Anything (clean) you can fit in an envelope is perfect! Ofcourse, this is not obligatory, but I'd really, REALLY like it if you would send me something like that as well.
Please write in your native language if it's Dutch/German/French/Swedish/Norwegian/Danish/Hebrew, I would really like that!
Thank you so much, and I'm looking forward to receive your card!
PS. My avatar is a picture of my tattoo, which symbolizes love and equality for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, gender or sexuality.
