I have been a postcard collector since a child but seriously for about the last five years. My main collection is of a British publisher called ETW Dennis who made cards from the start of the 'Golden Age' of postcards in 1894 until their demise in 2001.

Dennis predominantly made cards for the UK and Ireland although they very occasionally produced cards for countries such as New Zealand; Iraq; India; Kenya and a few others in the 1960's. I am not aware of any production for mainland Europe. It is unlikely that you will find Dennis cards so please do not go frantic trying to find them. Another publisher I like is Kruger of Germany who printed cards for many countries.

I also like cards on most subjects, though not particularly Old Art (I like most modern art, black & White views or graphics). View cards are always fine. 6" * 4" (15 * 10 Continental Size) cards are preferred over larger sizes please. I have recently started to form a collection of Non-UK Freecards, particularly Denmark and these are always welcomed

Besides the collecting, I also make cards under the delicards imprint which either feature collective art projects (such as where a large number of Elephants will appear throughout a town); local views of SW London or Transport themes such as trams.
