About Calvin...

I am an aspiring urban planner who enjoys strolling and getting lost in urban mazes all around the world. It was in New York where I came to appreciate the oh-so-seemingly-bland-and-boring grid street patterns. It was in Madrid that I valued small, often crowded alleyways, yet alive and bustling with people and activities.

Now, what does being lost inside a city have anything to do with postcards, you might be asking yourself? For me personally, it provides ample opportunities to steer away from the obvious and the expected, and veer into a more fruitful postcard spotting and shopping. Good things come when you least expect them!

You don't have to follow in my footsteps to send me one. Send me any postcard, be it simple and ordinary, or unusual and extraordinary. For those of you in need of a more solid guidance as to what to send me, I am somewhat fond of city landscape and historic place postcards. Illustration and/or a vintage repro postcard is another favorite. Don't worry if you can't find me any of these subject matters . In the end it all comes down to the correspondence itself. There's nothing more pleasing than reading your voice and thoughts.
