I love reading all sorts of books. My favorite authors are: Tolkien, Diana Gabaldon, P.G. Wodehouse, Elizabeth George, Roddy Doyle, Henning Mankell, Sjöwall/Wählöo and Agatha Christie. I collect the books of Tolkien in all languages I can get my hands on in one way or another.
I'm a huge movie-lover. Ofcourse the three LOTR-movies, but also Billy Elliot (I always cry when I'm watching that movie), Festen, Gone with the wind, Control, The snapper, Priscilla - queen of the desert, Hitchcock-movies and many more.
On tv I like to watch Doctor Who, Torchwood, Top Gear, Seinfeld, M*A*S*H, english detectives, McLeod's Daughters, Royle Family, The Office, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, cricket and rugby (All Blacks rule!).
Music is very important for me: Van Morrison, Kari Bremnes, Eskimo Joe, Stef Bos, A-ha, Magic Numbers, Kari Bremnes, Trang Fødsel, Minor Majority, The Whitlams, U2 and many more. But I also like classical music very much: Maria Callas has to be the best operasinger ever!

My favorite countries are The Channel Islands (England), Norway (I've lived, studied and worked there for seven months), Scotland en Denmark. I'm saving up to go on a four week holiday to New Zealand in a few years. As a diehard fan of Lord of the Rings I should go there ofcourse.
I like all kinds of postcards, but commercial ones are not my favorite. I'd love to see pictures of your hometowns or country. Or Tolkien-related perhaps?
