About Bert...

Hi.

I am a 50-year old administrator (sounds boring but it is not) living in Zwolle in the Netherlands.

I am divorced, and the proud father of three beautiful children:
Stefan (19), who studies Maths at Windesheim here in Zwolle,
Thomas(17), who is in fourth class of a secondary school and Milou (12),who is in first year at secondary school. Stefan and Thomas are my biological children and we adopted Milou in 2000 from China.
She is a (the) most beautiful girl. She likes to be a lawyer when she is an adult.

I like the music of Coldplay, Neil Young and Spyro Gyra. My oldest son introduced me to Arcade Fire and The National.
I like cooking (Italian, Chinese) and like to read short stories and children's books (Carmiggelt, Bomans and Roald Dahl).

I collect nursery rhyms. I admire people like Nelson Mandela,
Barack Obama, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Anne Frank and Lance Armstrong. I try to interest my chidren for what they
have done and do for the world.

I´d love to receive postcards with beautiful stamps from beautiful landscapes or people you admire.
