About Jodie...

My name is Jodie. I'm a 37yr old Canadian working and living in Bangkok, Thailand. My husband and I are both teachers and when we're not busy with other people's kids, we try our hand at raising our own very curious three year old son. I am also the proud new mom to a baby boy born Dec. 21st, 2011.

I love sending postcards. Always have. Ever since I was a child, I have always derived an unexplainable pleasure out of choosing just the right card to send to friends and family. Since joining Postcrossing.com, I now get to share that experience with other like minded individuals.

I'm not really fussy about what you choose to send me. I just like to imagine that, like me, you enjoyed the process of choosing a card that you like or that is important to you in some way.

But if I did have any preferences, here they are:

-black & white
-scenes of historical importance
-people going about their everyday business
-cards that are atypical
-maps

Also, my 3 and a half year old son is studying "plants" at the moment so if you have any cards with clear images of flowers and plants I am sure he would love to see them..
