Okay, so this Postcrossing project began as a geography lesson for our home schooled Kindergartner (now a 9th grader who is no longer homeschooled!). Funny thing is, I love it! So, for now it has become a new hobby for me!

About me. I'm a married stay-at-home Mom of two wonderful children. I enjoy backpacking, day hikes, photography, reading, and most sports. I am fascinated with American History. We do many things as a family; hiking, camping and campfires in our backyard, simple things mostly.

What to send me? I'm very grateful to receive any card, but a few suggestions (just suggestions, certainly not demands, haha).

If you are sending from USA, I would LOVE to receive something of a historical nature from your state, or a nearby National Park or monument. If you live on the east coast and the Appalachian Trail goes thru your state, well you would be my favorite person ever if you sent a AT-ish card!

I love all things outdoors..nature, beaches, animals (not cartoons), quirky is fun too! Oh and we LOVE Volkswagon Beetles and Buses!! Please no nudity, even though this has become my hobby our kids still see each postcard!

I'm a HUGE fan of poetry and inspirational quotes. Maybe jot something like that down..

Just a couple of final things:

-I register cards I receive immediately (as in within the hour of receiving them).
-I send my cards the day I get a new address. ALWAYS, the SAME DAY!
