Ok, so this Postcrossing project began as a geography lesson for our homeschooled Kindergartner. Funny thing is, I love it! So, for now it has become a new hobby for me!
About me. I'm a married stay-at-home Mom of two wonderful children (Gavin-6; Hannah-3). I enjoy reading (John Grisham, Nicholas Sparks, Sandra Dallas, actually the list goes on and on), scrapbooking, cooking/baking, gardening (flowers), hiking, photography, most sports and I am fascinated with American History. We do many things as a family; hiking, geo-caching, campfires in our backyard, simple things mostly.
What to send me? I'm very grateful to receive any card, but a few suggestions (just suggestions, certainly not demands, haha).
If you are sending from USA, I would love to receive something of a historical nature from your state, or a nearby National Park or monument.
Disney, nature, firetrucks (husband is a fireman/paramedic), beaches, animals (not cartoons), sports or Olympic stadiums, quirky is fun too! Please no nudity, even though this has become my hobby our kids still see each postcard!
Tell me something about yourself or where you live. What is your favorite movie, book or quote, what is the price of a gallon of gas or a loaf of bread. Just something more than Happy Postcrossing!
Just a couple of final things:
-I register cards I receive immediatly (as in within the hour of receiving them).
-I send my cards the day I get a new address. ALWAYS, the SAME DAY!
-I will upload a picture of EVERY card I recieve, I promise!
