About WattlePark...
Hello Fellow Post-Crosser,
My interests include dancing, handcrafts and collecting things.
I really like dancing! Currently do Colonial, English, Scottish and Welsh dancing. To balance the physical activity of dancing I also belong to two craft cooperatives - my crafts include copperfoiled glass and cross stitch.
I think it is a good idea to use some of the things I have collected to make room to collect other things. So I am enjoying searching my collection to find the best postcards to fulfill the wishes of each new PostCrosser friend.
My favourite postcards are of Graham Rawle's Lost Consonants. It is a challenge to match these to other PostCrossers. (When I sent Graham a fan email he had to google Postcrossing - now knows it is not about cross-dressing postal workers, interesting thought though. I think my postman would find it quite awkward riding his motor bike in a dress.)
I don't have any preferences as to type of postcards, although I do like pictures of birds. It would be really interesting to see how many postcards about folk dancing I could collect! Whatever postcard you choose for me I will be delighted to receive.
With my kind regards
Julia
PS Should a card you send me not be registered it probably means that card has sadly gone astray, as I try to register cards within an hour of receipt! So if I appear not to have received your card please let me know and I will register it for you.
If you are so kind as to register a card sent to me that has that has gone astray you will get to see it! Although you won't have the actual card it will be on your Postcrossing wall as I scan all cards before sending.
At a folk festival I heard a tune played called "The Postcard Bandit" - perhaps he/she has all those missing cards!
J
